My professional activities include training, publishing, video production, software development and consulting ranging from the nitty gritty hands-on type of work to project coordination that has achieved international virtual office project scales.

Currently I am specializing in Flex and Flash centric applications with or without client server.

A recent large scale Flash client server applications involved eLearning software that uses proprietary and XML data structures to produce the Flash content dynamically without Flash developers. Somewhat like the Flex product only the components are generated in the Flash player on the client side.

Another large scale all Flash Web Site project I am making contributions is for the Chanel Fragrance division. See Flash Product Scroller and Flash Product Shade Viewers.

I am also working with various types of Web casting and real time web interactive applications using the Flash Media Server.

About these web pages
The HTML files orignally were generated from an Access 97 database I did in 1997. Access programs read the database and output HTML text files for uploading to the web site. The database allowed easy maintenance of the content without worry about all the HTML details and provided the needed static files for search engines robots to catalog them. Essentially the database this was a content server long before we had such technology.

This type of innovation in applying new information technology is a hallmark of my work.

Today I prefer Dreamweaver to handle the HTML tasks and Fireworks for the graphics. Instead of Access, I use PHP scripts for content management that dynamically generate the pages from simple to maintain "content" files.

My next version of this will be a full Flash based application. However regular professional activities for clients fully absorb my time so hopefully it will happen before I retire.
