Seminar Presenter

Lon participated in the AMA computer program in NYC. Lon designed their courses on Symphony. Symphony was Lotus´s spreadsheet, wordprocessor, database, and communications package. Lon also taught Lotus 1-2-3 and dBase courses.

Computer Training Center Management Courseware Developer Data Systems of New Jersey

Data Systems was one of the first IBM Personal Computer authorized dealers in the United States. Lon was hired to establish the support and training services Data Systems offered to its corporate clients such as Bell Atlantic (then New Jersey Telephone). Lon´s department handled support calls from customers with one of the first personal computer support systems. Lon was selected by Data Systems to travel to Lotus Development Corporation at their release of Symphony. Lon also was selected by Data Systems to be a beta tester of Paradox from a new company called Ansa Set up one of the personal computer industries first professional computer training and support center. Responsible for 3 trainers and 4 support personnel. Developed curriculum, built training facilities, and marketed programs to large corporations like Bell Atlantic (then NJ Tel) and now Verzion.
